Deleted alot of crap on my Mac but still wouldn’t help. Looks like you only have 2GB of RAM, so NO, it will not run. I'm buying a macbook soon and i want to play sims 4 on it. I would also like to download a few gameplays and custom content but i don't know if i'll be able to because of storage, i also don't want it to be laggy. Does anyone know how much storage it might take up and what macbook will be better (macbook pro.air etc) thank you xx

Notebooks are not for games. There are gaming laptops that are better than any Apple product, cheaper also. Gaming desktops are even better.
Sims are not that intensive for CPUs but tough on the graphics chips. You need better than what is used for Internet browsing or office software. That is what MacBooks are best used for.
As to storage, you can get a 5TB external hard disk that will hold anything you could want to put in it for the rest of your life. About $110 or less if on sale.

Can you believe it? The Sims 4 is finally available for Macs! Getting the game up and running is simple, but there are just a few things you need to know.

You see, the Mac version of The Sims 4 is currently only available in digital form. That means, if you recently went to the store to buy a physical copy, you won’t be able to use that CD to install the game. Instead, you’ll have to install Origin, and download the game from there.

First, open up Safari or your web browser of choice and head to the origin.com/download page. Click on the tiny text that says “Download for Mac” underneath the orange button.

After installing and running the application, sign into Origin using your ID and Password. If you don’t have an Origin account at this point, you’ll have no choice but to create one.

If The Sims 4 doesn’t appear within the “My Games” tab, please do the following:
